Need a personal property appraisal?
We will prepare appraisals for insurance, probate, equitable distribution, etc., for one item, ten, or an entire household. Ranging from prehistoric to modern time periods, we will research fine art, prints, sculpture, furniture, jewelry, American decorative arts, and antiquarian books and more. A free on-site examination of the appraisal items can forecast the fee of an appraisal. A letter of engagement is provided in advance of commencement of the appraisal work.
All appraisals are prepared in conformity with and are subject to the requirements of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) of the Appraisal Foundation and to the Standards of Appraisal and Rules of Ethics of National Association of Professional Appraisers (NAPA). Norman Legassie, member of Stepping Stones Antiques LLC, is a Senior Professional Appraiser of the National Association of Professional Appraisers.
